One of my friends mentioned this week that she never says goodbye she always says see you soon. I think in a lot a ways this makes so much sense. We will see our Christian friends again one day whether in this world or the next. This does not make leaving the people you love any easier but it leaves you with hope, that one day you will see your loved ones again.
I really need to remember this as I leave the people I love, not knowing when I'll see or talk to them again.
This is the hardest thing I've ever done, and I don't think I've ever felt so empty.
So to all the people I have to leave: I love you and I will see you again.
